The surgeon told us that the procedure is a short one and she is not expecting anything to go wrong. They are taking some precautionary measures by putting in a breathing tube just so they know Brielle will have an ample amount of oxygen during the procedure. If she is doing well after the surgery they will take the breathing tube out right away.
Dianne and I went to the galleria this afternoon to get some fresh air. We found a book store and bought a couple of books to read to Brielle, she likes to be read to. Papa Dohner paid a surprise visit this evening, we found him holding Brielle and rocking her when we came into the NICU. My mom went home today, she has an appointment tomorrow morning to have an assessment on her mouth and jaw and they will prep her for her bone graphing they will be doing on monday. Her surgery is also scheduled for monday and she wanted me to send a thank you to all of you for keeping her in your prayers.
Tomorrow is a big day and I know that God has everything under control. Thank you all for your love and support, we are definitely receiving it here. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking to steal, kill, and destroy, his work is evident in the faces of the broken here in St. Louis Children's hospital. I am asking the Lord for protection against our enemy, and I am also asking for the Lord's hand to be over the hands of the surgeons, to give them wisdom and confidence, and to protect my little baby girl. I will send an update as soon as she comes out of surgery. Thank you all for your faithfulness and your encouragement, we love you all!
In His Service,
